Bleeding Prevention Course- 4hr Kentucky Sustainable Living Festival

Here at Refuge we take the knowledge of how to prevent massive bleeding seriously. So seriously, that we decided to do a 4hr class focused around the “M” inside of the MARCHE algorithm. In this course you will be empowered with the knowledge of how to:

• Apply manual pressure to an artery
• Wound pack a junctional wound
• Successfully apply a tourniquet to both yourself and others.
• Covering the different types of Tourniquets 

The class will also learn the importance of carrying a medical kit on their person through real life testimony and through applied knowledge.

With multiple instructors analyzing your capability and proficiency, as well as teaching through application of the taught curriculum, you will become confident in your ability to render lifesaving aid in the case of a traumatic bleed.
