NIGHT RESPONDER - BLACK OUT GAMES 2026

The Night Responder is designed alongside leaders in the Special Operations community to give civilians the chance to have a fully immersive ALL NIGHT LONG "real world" scenario. Students will put their skills & gear to the test...you fight with what you bring. 

This year we are marking the first "Blackout Games" by having 3 teams compete for the title of Black Out Champions.

While be driven to work as a team, you will be moving across a 1400 acre playing field. These scenarios will have active role players, oppositional forces, blank fire, simulate artillery, active drone reconnoissance, and more!

Participants are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to bring the following equipment. You will be operating in a dynamic, low-light tactical environment. Come prepared.

• GMRS/FRS Capable Radio

• Eye & Ear Protection (Mandatory: Cannot be removed inside the course)

Lighting & Signaling

• Flashlight (High-output)

• Headlamp (Must have Red/White capability)

• 3 Chemlights (Red)

Medical & Survival

• Medical Kit / IFAK 

• Shelter 

• Cordage 

• Water Purification 

• Firestarter 

Apparel & Personal

• Active Clothing & Footwear (Suitable for large movements/rugged terrain)

• Change of Clothes (Spare socks/base layers)

• Rain Gear 

OPTIONAL / ENCOURAGED GEAR

• Night Vision Devices (NODs) & Compatible Helmet

• Thermal Devices (Handheld or weapon-mounted)

• IR Devices (Lasers/Illuminators)

• Radio Compatible Headset (Comms integration)

• Quick Litter (Compact casualty evacuation)

LIVE AMMO POLICY: DO NOT BRING LIVE AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM SETTING. Blank fire will be utilized during this course. If you are found with live ammo in your possession inside the course area, you will be REMOVED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND. Your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority.
