Refuge Defender 1
Now being offered to the public, the Refuge Defender 1 is a one-day, 10-hour training course designed for church security teams and individuals who feel called to protect their congregations. Now open to the public, this intensive program combines classroom instruction, practical application, and scenario-based training to prepare participants for real-world threats.

Students will learn:

• Mass Casualty Response – how to manage chaotic, high-stress situations and prioritize care for multiple patients.

• Active Shooter Response – strategies for identifying, engaging, and neutralizing threats while protecting others.

• Rendering Aid – providing life-saving medical care in the critical moments before first responders arrive.

• Elevating Care – transitioning casualties to higher levels of medical support safely and effectively.

This course equips you with the skills, confidence, and mindset to defend your community when it matters most.
