  • Non-Latex: Safe for all users and environments.

  • Dynamic Use: The ultimate tool for hemorrhage control, sprains, and contusions.

  • The Pediatric Solution: While we recommend this strictly as a high-efficiency pressure wrap for adults, its unique design makes it a highly effective tourniquet for children and animals where traditional windlass tourniquets often fail.

  • Fully Adjustable: Tighten until hemostasis is achieved, then fine-tune for pain control and perfusion.

  • Field-Ready: Lightweight (2.7 oz with case) and works even when wet, frozen, or soiled.

"Ran across a couple of YouTube videos about this product. The thing that impressed me was the versatility to provide compression and/or tourniquet and work on adults, children, and animals. It's lightweight and compact; add a package of Z-fold gauze and maybe a small compress and you have a good first response kit."

SLISHMAN PRESSURE WRAP

"Slishman Pressure Wrap and (SPW) Pouch (comes empty) : Don’t underestimate the pressure wrap or the feather- weight pouch as it can be a lifesaver! The pouch is extremely practical for carrying essential items related to bleed mitigation. Since every second counts in stopping the bleeding, having basic supplies immediately available is invaluable, and can potentially save a life. My SPW Pouch contains the following and is attached via the MOLLE clip to my everyday carry bag. Yes, it can all fit! 1 Slishman Pressure Wrap 1 Hemostatic gauze packet 1 compressed gauze pad 1 Mini EMT trauma sheers – 4 inches 1 Mini Sharpie marker 1 pair Nitrile gloves 1 mini flathead light 2 Antibiotics ointment 1 Hand sanitizer wipe Add this to your everyday carry bag."

SLISHMAN PRESSURE WRAP

"This 'Slishman Pressure Wrap' is a brilliant and SIMPLE innovation for control of a serious bleed from extremity injury. It is so much more intuitive to use than most other options like the CAT or SOFT-T tourniquets. It's so simple even a child can be instructed in its use in a minute. It achieves that rare high benchmark of being nearly 'soldier-proof' (which is a lofty engineering feat as soldiers, well.. we have do have a capacity for chaos). Pros: stone-simple to use. VERY small and carry-friendly as it has no hard edges (no windlass or clips, and is more compressible/compact than nearly every other tourniquet; half the size of a CAT Gen 7). So small AND LIGHT it can be carried even in dinky t-shirt pocket. It's about 1/3rd the cost of a genuine CAT Gen 7. It can work on patients whose extremities are too small for a CAT or SOFT-T, (like a toddler or a pet). CONS: It is a relatively new item. I have been using it in limited scenario training and it is holding up so far. That said, I haven't used it in all weathers or for years or on a real patient yet. Unlike the CAT, with many years of familiarity/respect, and which I've used in patient care, eg control of major hemorrhage in horrendous lower leg arterial destruction (Iraq). I'm sure the DoD is testing the Slishman, but the CAT and SOFT-T have been proven/approved as a primary tourniquets by the DoD for years.(TCCC-approved). Speed of use: for a troop that has been highly trained/true proficiency on the CAT, they will likely be able to stop a major arterial flow several seconds faster with the CAT/SOFT-T than with the Slishman. (To control a high-pressure bleed the Slishman will require several wraps around the extremity, adding a few extra seconds. In person of novice-level training, the Slishman will probably prevail. OVERALL rating: 9/10. Final yap: I'm very impressed with the Slishman so far. I will continue to carry my CAT as my primary tourniquet, but also carry the Slishman with it as capable backup and option for smaller patients. I will be ordering more soon from Refuge. Amazing staff, ridiculously fast delivery time (as in somehow bending the time/space continuum), and very competitive prices. A rightly blessed organization."
