Surgical kit review... Good, quality,
"Surgical kit review... Good, quality, durable kit, with the necessities thar that you actually need...at a cost that represents a good value. Where I upgraded... I also purchased a couple streamlight headlamps that take cr123 batteries. It's going to be hard enough to work with the screaming, and bleeding, you will need to be able to see what you are working with. I also opted for a pelican case to store and organize my surgical kit. The seals are waterproof, it floats, and is air tight; slowing down UV degradation or moisture related rot. End result, your kit will last longer. What I woukd like to see from Refuge... 1. A lidocaine needle combo for numbing the area when working (makes for cleaner stitch work) 2.A functional metal detector probe that can operate on AA or CR123 batteries and that will allow the Doc to identify any metal fragments while the wound is open prior to closure. I understand that these won't catch all types of debris/projectiles...but would help tremendously in other cases. All that said, I am very happy with the kit Refuge provided and will be looking for more in the future. Best of luck to you and yours Michael"
